Dr. Larson's Specialties

Dr. Larson has a variety of special medical interests as well, including Colorectal Screening and Surgery, Complex Ventral Hernia Repair, Pediatric Surgery, Endoscopy, Laparoscopic Surgery, and Robotic-Assisted Surgery.

In addition to the above, Dr. Larson is also a trauma surgeon with board certification in surgical critical care and Neurocritical care. Her specialities also extend to laparoscopic colorectal surgery and she is a surgeon of excellence and hernia surgery,  panniculectomy and skin surgery after weight loss as well as pilonidal cyst surgery using cleft lift procedures. She also specializes in melanoma skin cancer surgery and lymph node biopsy.

Education & Training

Dr. Larson received her medical training at the University of Illinois - College of Medicine in Urbana, IL. She then completed her residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield and her Trauma & Surgical Critical Care fellowship at Loyola University in Maywood, IL.
