The intact person and the Nurse was very quick to acknowledge me, I was impressed with the way that they helped me. The Doctor was awesome! He engaged me with the explanation of what was going on, giving the info thoroughly and very understandable. Answered all my questions. Just a little rushed at the end, but understandable because I am sure he didn't want the next patient waiting too long.

My waiting time was not a factor that I included in my plan, and as it turned out it wasn't necessary. I was called in 10 minutes earlier than my scheduled time. To make this short, I was led to a patient room; and I was provided all preliminary information. I was very surprised to complain my issue in such a short time frame. When I have a doctors appointment, I never expect it to be on time. What a pleasant surprise! I was seen 10 minutes earlier!

Well, when I asked a question about something he was explaining to me, but I waited until he was actually finish and then I couldn't I couldn't recall his exact words. And I asked him about it. He kind of pushed me off to saying well, he he says a lot of things and I thought well, okay. I know that. Yeah, I don't remember everything, you know it specially in this, you know under the circumstances and and then I felt like I was just pushed out the door. So very nice guy. I like them. I love my talks with Sara, but I feel like the appointment time is too rushed. If my appointments are set for 30 minutes, I would like that entire 30 minutes to discuss everything. I don't think we made it past 15 minutes - and this appointment is very expensive for just 15 minutes of time.

Very good except having to keep my bare feet on a freezing tile floor without even a towel for 10 minutes while waiting for the PA, since I'm there for circulation problems, my feet are always cold to begin with. Very uncomfortable, at least offer a towel or blanket to keep feet off the tile!

Dr. Weiland had performed surgery on me for a gallbladder removal back in 2004 and he did a wonderful job done in his care was very attentive and I was very pleased with the surgery. So when I needed another surgery, I didn't even hesitate to think about it, I just called him immediately, so I really appreciate having the ability to work with him again or him to work with me again and Yeah, I can't say enough good about him. Dr Weiland did not listen at all. He was tone deaf to everything except the sound of his voice. He was condescending to my questions and areas of concern and regurgitating everything he thought he knew from medical school to his intern, including this could be cancer and why and what to look for in a conversation i was a third party to ( yes, while i sat there). I hope his student doesn't treat his patients like he did me, horrible bedside manner, horrible. He didn't even ask if i was comfortable with extra people in the room. Honestly, i think i would have felt more comfortable with just the intern. I felt like i was an experiment, in a show and tell horror show. I felt humiliated by the entire event. Then to add to the traumatic ordeal, He was loud to the scheduler at the desk about why he thought I needed an apt elsewhere, which wasn't even a symptom (yes, i mentioned it not being a symptom several times already), other people could hear everything he was saying. I drove an hour to get the same crap service and bedside manner I could've gotten from Marshfield clinic systems and I wouldn't have had to drive an hour. I will not be back. I do not need a follow up from him. I'm shocked he has any kind of practice at all to be honest. He's going to read this, and I'd bet his arrogant ass won't own any of it! No thanks. You can have him. I'll make sure my PCP knows not to send anyone his way. She'll be horrified to know she suggested it. Nobody should be subjected to this humiliation especially when your in pain.

They'll tell you they're going to call you back and you can wait for two or three days and I never hear from them again. Th whole team, from the staff doing check in and scheduling, to the MA who roomed me, as well as the PA and physician who treated me were excellent. Everyone was cordial. The MA explained what to expect in the visit. The PA listened to my responses and questions. The physician explained the purpose of everything she was doing and made sure all my questions were addressed.

Better communication from staff to patient would be reassuring. Make it very clear what the patient has to do before a procedure. Don't be in a hurry, especially when patient has to undergo a procedure they've never had before. Be clear on COVID protocols beforehand and provide the phone number for the COVID hotline, instead of expecting patients to look it up themselves.

If it wasn't for the nurse, I wouldn't have know about any restrictions after my surgery. In my initial appointment with the doctor he told me "it will be really hard to find it (my hernia) under all of this" while looking at my stomach. He also told me there was no way I could have 2 hernia's that close together, only to repair 2 hernia's in the exact spots I told him I had them.

He also said to me that I should start to think about me not about what was convenient for others. I had talked to another doctor about the test results and he suggested that I could have scheduled it for more convenient time with little added risk. I had intended to have the procedure done and was trying to determine what would be the least disruptive to my lifestyle choices. In the end I decided to have the procedure done because it is the best time for my lifestyle choices. I wanted to know things about the surgery and recovery process and time it would take. He seemed to be in hurry to get done with me and getting down to doing the scheduling done.

The doctor was fantastic. However, having two buildings called Surgical Associates is not wise. I went to the wrong location. As I was waiting to check in (at the wrong location), a person on the phone was trying to locate the building that I ended up getting sent to. I had to pull over and call to get help finding it as well. It's not a location I visit regularly and didn't even know that building was there. In a world of GPS, the Stewart Ave business isn't really on Stewart Avenue. I joked about people having a hard time finding it. The receptionist agreed people have trouble.

Dr. Jennine Larson has been absolutely phenomenal since I first met her, and throughout my surgery and treatment process. She explained my cancer and surgery in depth, the treatment process going forward, and possible future surgeries. My first surgery, required removing a significant amount of tissue from my shin all the way down to the muscle, to see if the cancer spread. Once pathology analyzed my tissue and lymph nodes, and discovered the cancer did not spread, Dr. Larson called me with the results. She was absolutely jubilant when she shared the great news. I was not expecting this from a doctor who routinely does these surgeries, and has seen cases like mine many times throughout her career. The fact that I could genuinely hear how jubilant her voice was when she told me the cancer did not spread and that I was cancer free, made me feel like I was someone of great importance to her, like a loved one, not just another patient, will always stay with me. Again Dr. Jennine Larson as well as her staff have been phenomenal throughout my entire care/treatment process.

I didn't get to see the Doctor he had an emergency patient so I saw the NP. She was great. Explained things well, a lot of information to take in, but I was given some information to look over. Also had lower leg ultrasound. It would be helpful if they had some wipes you could use after the exam to clean the gel off the legs. I was given a dry towel to wipe off with but the gel is sticky and a bit hard to wipe off.

We had a reminder automated phone call; however, we were not told to go to the new addition. Upon arrival and check-in, we were told to go around to the new section. I am recovering from a broken leg and this was very unfortunate that I had to (using my cane) go back out to the car and drive around to the new section, get out with my car with my cane and enter the new facility. The office should explain to a patient to report to the new section for check in. This was reiterated to both appointment desks also!!! My visit with Rhonda Repinski was very good.
