Dr. Sandra Cole is an essential member of our vascular surgery team at Surgical Associates. She brings a strong foundation in vascular surgery, combining advanced clinical training with a background in research and academic medicine. Dr. Cole is dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care and values developing long-term relationships with her patients and their families as they navigate vascular health together.

Education & Training
Dr. Cole received her medical education at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry in Rochester, NY. During medical school, she completed the William B. Hawkins Fellowship in Pathology, a year-long academic fellowship focused on advanced pathology training. This experience included independently performing hospital and medical examiner autopsies, evaluating surgical specimens, conducting microscopic tissue examinations, and gaining comprehensive experience in laboratory medicine and microbiology.
She completed her Preliminary Year in General Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Cole then pursued her Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency at the Pennsylvania State College of Medicine, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where she refined her expertise in the full spectrum of vascular procedures.
