Trauma Surgeon

Dr. Paul Chestovich is a valued member of the Surgical Associates' experienced trauma surgery team. He brings a comprehensive skill set in general surgery, acute care, trauma surgery, surgical critical care, and burns. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by a residency at UCLA Medical Center. Further specialization was achieved through fellowships in Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Holding certifications in both general surgery and surgical critical care from the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Chestovich's medical interests span organ donation, mass casualty incidents, burns, abdominal wall reconstruction, ECMO, and injury prevention. His dedication to lifelong learning and skill acquisition is reflected in his passion for helping patients recover from acute traumatic events, enabling them to resume their lives. Dr. Chestovich's diverse expertise and patient-focused approach make him a valuable asset to Surgical Associates.

Corrine Miller, MD

Acute Care Surgeon

Dr. Corrine Miller is a valued member of the Surgical Associates’ acute care surgery team. She specializes in trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care, providing expert care to patients facing unexpected medical challenges. Dr. Miller earned her medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies, and completed her residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. She further honed her expertise through a fellowship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.

Board-certified and highly trained, Dr. Miller holds certifications including ATLS, ACLS, and Stop the Bleed Instructor. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (EAST) and the American Medical Association (AMA). Her medical interests include palliative care, medical disaster response, and interdisciplinary care.

Dr. Chelsea Heisler is a dedicated member of the Surgical Associates’ trauma surgery team, caring for the most critically ill patients and guiding them toward recovery. She specializes in trauma and surgical critical care, bringing advanced expertise to complex and urgent medical situations. Dr. Heisler earned her medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies, and completed her residency at the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. She further refined her skills through a fellowship at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, Virginia.

Certified as an ATLS Instructor and in FCCS, Dr. Heisler combines her technical expertise with a focus on whole-person recovery and innovative approaches to support healing. Her dedication to patient-centered care ensures that even the most challenging cases receive thoughtful and comprehensive treatment.

Michael McAllister, DO

Dr. Michael McAllister is a general surgeon with Surgical Associates specializing in general surgery and acute care surgery. He offers expert, patient-centered care with advanced skill in endoscopy, gastroenterology, and minimally invasive hernia procedures.

Dr. McAllister earned his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed his residency through the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine Statewide Campus System at Macomb–Oakland Hospital. His professional affiliations include the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma (EAST), National Association of Medical Examiners (NAME), Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT), Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), American Osteopathic Association (AOA), Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his son and caring for his many pets.
