Paul J. Chestovich, MD, FACS

Trauma Surgeon

Dr. Paul Chestovich is a valued member of the Surgical Associates' experienced trauma surgery team. He brings a comprehensive skill set in general surgery, acute care, trauma surgery, surgical critical care, and burns. He earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by a residency at UCLA Medical Center. Further specialization was achieved through fellowships in Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Holding certifications in both general surgery and surgical critical care from the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Chestovich's medical interests span organ donation, mass casualty incidents, burns, abdominal wall reconstruction, ECMO, and injury prevention. His dedication to lifelong learning and skill acquisition is reflected in his passion for helping patients recover from acute traumatic events, enabling them to resume their lives. Dr. Chestovich's diverse expertise and patient-focused approach make him a valuable asset to Surgical Associates.

Amanda Murphy Sindhu M.D.

Trauma Surgeon

Dr. Sindhu is an integral part of the trauma surgery team at Surgical Associates, specializing in general surgery, acute care surgery, trauma surgery, surgical critical care, and hospital services. Her extensive training and varied medical interests make her an invaluable member of the team.

Dr. Sindhu completed her medical education at the University of Minnesota Medical School, followed by a residency in General Surgery at Hennepin County Medical Center. She further honed her skills through a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at Stony Brook University. Certified by the American Board of Surgery, her medical interests encompass a wide range of conditions, including cholecystitis, appendicitis, small bowel obstruction, peptic ulcer disease, soft tissue infections, abdominal and inguinal hernias, and more. She is adept in both laparoscopic and robotic surgery techniques.

A member of the Society for Critical Care Medicine, Dr. Murphy Sindhu is committed to staying at the forefront of advancements in trauma and critical care. She finds profound fulfillment in seeing her patients recover and return to their everyday lives, a testament to her dedication to their well-being and recovery.

Kyle Wood, MD, FACS

Dr. Kyle Wood, a distinguished member of the Surgical Associates team, excels in general surgery, hospital services, and acute care surgery. Her expertise and commitment to her field make her an essential member of our medical team.

Dr. Wood's medical journey began at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI. She completed her residency with Spectrum Health and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Grand Rapids, MI, where she honed her surgical skills and knowledge. Certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Wood's specialties include acute care surgery, emergency general surgery, and laparoscopic surgery.

Passionate about the ever-evolving field of medicine, Dr. Wood embraces the continuous learning it offers. She finds great satisfaction in using evidence-based medicine to help patients recover and return to their lives.
