Dr. Kyle Wood

Dr. Kyle Wood is an integral part of our trauma surgery team at Surgical Associates. She brings a dedication to learning and improving to everything she does, consistently using her impressive knowledge for the benefit of her patients.

Dr. Wood finds medicine to be fascinating and continuously advancing which affords lifelong learning. She says the opportunity to serve in this realm as a surgeon and help patients return to what matters most, while applying evidence-based medicine, is extremely gratifying.

Dr. Wood’s specialties are General Surgery, Hospital Services, and Acute Care Surgery. She also has several special medical interests, including Acute Care Surgery, Emergency General Surgery, and Laparoscopic Surgery.

Education & Training

Dr. Wood received her medical education at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI. She then completed residencies at Spectrum Health and Michigan State University; College of Human Medicine in Grand Rapids, MI.

In her free time, Dr. Wood loves to be outside and particularly enjoys standup paddle boarding and casual kayaking with her family.
