Dr. Amanda Murphy Sindhu is an essential part of our trauma surgery team at Surgical Associates. She finds it rewarding to see patients recover, leave the hospital, and return home to their normal lives. Dr. Sindhu’s specialties are General Surgery, Acute Care Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, and Hospital Services.

Dr. Sindhu also has a variety of special medical interests, including Cholecystitis, Appendicitis, Small Bowel Obstruction, Peptic Ulcer Disease, Soft Tissue Infections, Abdominal and Inguinal Hernias, Laparoscopic Surgery, Robotic Surgery, Diverticulitis, Surgical Critical Care, Tracheostomy, Gastrostomy, and Rib Fixation/Plating.
Education & Training
Dr. Sindhu received her medical education at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, MN. She completed her residency at Hennepin County Medical Center - General Surgery. Additionally, Dr. Sindhu completed her General Surgery fellowship at Stony Brook University - Surgical Critical Care.
